This Privacy Policy describes how 3oz ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use the FocusView mobile application ("App").
FocusView is designed with your privacy as the core principle. We do not collect, store, track, or transmit any personal data, usage statistics, or analytics to any external servers. The App operates entirely locally on your device. Your photos and videos are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted anywhere \u2014 they are accessed only to display them within the secure FocusView Mode session.
All your data (e.g., progress, files, settings) is processed exclusively locally on your device. FocusView does not collect, analyze, or send your data to any external servers. For the purpose of processing payments, verifying licenses, and ensuring security against fraud, the application communicates exclusively with Google Play system services (e.g., Play Integrity API), which are directly subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
FocusView uses your device's built-in authentication system (Android BiometricPrompt with DEVICE_CREDENTIAL fallback) as the exclusive mechanism to exit FocusView Mode and return full control of the device to the owner. The app first prompts for biometrics (fingerprint or Face ID). If biometrics are unavailable or fail, Android automatically offers your screen lock credentials (PIN, pattern, or password) as a secure fallback.
FocusView requires the following permissions solely to deliver its core functionality:
No data about your usage, the files you selected, or your guest's interactions is collected, monitored, or transmitted.
If you choose to upgrade to FocusView Pro, the transaction is processed securely through Google Play Billing. We do not collect or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or personal billing address. We only receive an anonymous, encrypted confirmation of your purchase status from Google to unlock the unlimited-photos feature on your device. FocusView Pro is a one-time purchase with no subscription.
Because the App operates offline and locally, it does not integrate any third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising SDKs. The only external service involved is Google Play Billing (for the optional Pro upgrade), which is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
